Such is the happiness found
Collecting pieces of sweet memories
Making into an album
Created from the past, present and future

Friends are
Easy to be found, however
Let
Loose
Once,
We'll
Soon
Hide from each other
In the name of Jesus
Pray that our frienship will remain strong n lasting !!

SQ

Believe it or not, only now, I am getting to enjoy doing my research paper under my supervisor, Pn Juridah. Apart from researching about Kate Chopin's and female emancipation, she suggested me to look into areas like EQ and SQ. Previously, i've never heard of SQ. SQ stands for Spiritual Quotient. Sad to say I'm not yet a christian, but ever since Yvonne brought me to church, i've found peace in 'talking' to God. Then i recalled few weeks back, a MSN friend asked bout my horoscope (Taurus) and stated that I need spiritual guide in my life. Sometimes i see my friends stressed about studies and love life or other obstacles in life, I would try my best to sum up my personal advice by seeking God. Haha. Oxymoron as it may sound, but i realized too, after my journals, i would normally end up with talking to God. Anyway, below is something i found out regarding SQ and i would like to share with you all. Happy reading!

IQ is sufficient ?
You should understand the feelings of other and make changes in your own life. Some parents says trhat “My son has very high IQ“but what a doctor says is IQ and EQ are not sufficient for success in life .If you don’t have the Equal thoughts in home there should be problems in life & in society .It will change the equilibrium of your life .In bible there is saying “you should love your neighbour like you love your self"

How many of us can really achieve that? Love your neighbout like you love yourself. Wah, I've yet to meet such angel! It's like you are willing to share (if not give) your favorite food to a stranger, when you are so hungry but knowing that he is hungrier than you. To me, it may also mean giving up your dreams to go London fieldtrip, because that RM6.5K can be used to build homes for orphans and send students to school or buy books and shoes. Forget about buying Levi's jeans or Crocs shoes, but instead use that same amount of money to buy another 10 pairs of jeans or shoes of quality but not branded items for the needy and suffering. Shoot, writing this now makes me feel ashame of myself.

In some co operative offices already started Spiritual Quotient (SQ ) building courses. It will reduce the tension. When sq builds you will think like “I love every one then why I Doubt every one “.Spiritual Quotient builder person will think like what should give to others not what should take from others.

Advantages of SQ

1. Tension Free Life

2. Self awareness

3. Free from alcohols and other drugs

4. Support of society

5. Less depression

6. Self Confidence

EIGHT SIGNS OF HIGH SQ

1. Flexibility

2. Self-awareness

3. An ability to face and use suffering

4. The ability to be inspired by a vision

5. An ability to see connections between diverse things

6. A desire and capacity to cause as little harm as possible

7. A tendency to probe and ask fundamental questions

8. An ability to work against convention

In short, I will still enjoy life, live life to the fullest, added by two more adjectives "purposeful and meaningful life". May God bless you all, spread the love!

Hello Taiwan, Bye Bye London

Just created my Twitter account: add me at lucy_silverin87@hotmail.com or JiaYiing87. wondering how often will i log on to twitter and update because not many of my friends are twittering. (and i still thought I'm one of the last to sign up)

Life have been too much fun lately, with the shopping, ice-skating, movies, karaoke-ing, and my 8 hours beauty sleep. finals is just 30days away and can i ask the question: wad have i learn these few months/years?

Good news: i'm going to Taiwan this May-June, most likely. Currently waiting for Taiwan's companies (schools/unis/orphanage) to match my resume. It's the Aiesec Go Exchange programme. Heartiest thank you to Hui Yi and Catherine for introducing and making this dream-work-fun-trip possible! Hope this exchange internship will bring much development, enjoyment, valuable experience as well as beautiful memories. the best part is my family might be coming over to visit me, hope they can apply the leaves, esp sis and bro-in-law. Yvonne, are u giving up on ur second interview? we're supporting and encouraging you to join us. it'll b triple the fun to have u with Nee, Yi and I. (if you read this b4 we book the tickets) to other classmates: this is a golden opportunity for you too, we won't have this chance once we leave upm/graduate..gambate, carpe diem!

Sad news: i've to let go of the dream of going to London this May. Lecturer asked as us give her RM6.5K by this week. FAMA sponsorship is thr, thou FA says i can go if i really wanna, but i tak sanggup hati spend your hard earned money dada. u've worked hard for years, it shud b ur time to relax, travel and enjoy life. no, i'm not going to use ur money to enjoy, as for the Taiwan trip, i'll try to come up with the 2-3K. love you dad and mom!!

Knowing 'How' 'When' to Eating Fruits

Dr Stephen Mak is a friend of mine at the BSF course. He told me he treats terminal ill cancer patients by "un-orthodox" way and many patients recovered. He explains to me before he is using solar energy to clear the illnesses of his patients. He believes on natural healing in the body against illnesses. See the article below.

Dear Shereen,
Thanks for the email on fruits and juices. It is one of the strategies to heal cancer. As of late, my success rate in curing cancer is about 80%. Cancer patients shouldn't die. The cure for cancer is already found. It is whether you believe it or not? I am sorry for the hundreds of cancer patients who die under the conventional treatments.. Very few can live for 5 years under the conventional treatments and most live for only about 2 to 3 years. The conventional treatments do not make any difference because most cancer patients also live for about 2 to 3 years without undergoing any treatment. It is difficult to cure those cancer patients who have undergone chemo and radiotherapy as their cells are toxic and weak. When there is a relapse, the cancer will spread very fast as the resistance is poor.
Thanks and God bless.
Dr Stephen Mak

EATING FRUIT...

It's long but very informative

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and when to eat.
?
What is the correct way of eating fruits?
?
IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.
?
If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.
?
FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD. Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.
?
In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil....
?
So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining — every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc — actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!
?
Graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.
?
There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.
?
When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.
?
But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!
?
KIWI: Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.
?
APPLE: An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.
?
STRAWBERRY: Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.
?
ORANGE : Sweetest medicine. Taking 2-4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer.
?
WATERMELON: Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene — the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium.
?
GUAVA & PAPAYA: Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C content.. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good for your eyes.
?
Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer! Can u believe this?? For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
?
A serious note about heart attacks HEART ATTACK PROCEDURE': (THIS IS NOT A JOKE!) Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. Sixty percent of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.
?
A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. pls spread the news~! =)

Read this....It could save your life!!

The Moon and the Great Snake

Happy Reading guys~~! =)

The rain had passed; the moon looked down from a clear sky, and the bushes and dead grass smelled wet, after the heavy storm. A cottontail ran into a clump of wild rose bushes near War Eagle's lodge, and some dogs were close behind the frightened animal, as he gained cover. Little Buffalo Calf threw a stone into the bushes, scaring the rabbit from his hiding place, and away went bunny, followed by the yelping pack. We stood and listened until the noise of the chase died away, and then went into the lodge, where we were greeted, as usual, by War Eagle. Finally he said:

"You have seen many Snakes, I suppose?" "Yes," replied the children, "we have seen a great many. In the summer we see them every day."

"Well," continued the storyteller, "once there was only one Snake on the whole world, and he was a big one, I tell you. He was pretty to look at, and was painted with all the colors we know. This snake was proud of his clothes and had a wicked heart. Most Snakes are wicked, because they are his relations.

"Now, I have not told you all about it yet, nor will I tell you tonight, but the Moon is the Sun's wife, and some day I shall tell you that story, but tonight I am telling you about the Snakes.

"You know that the Sun goes early to bed, and that the Moon most always leaves before he gets to the lodge. Sometimes this is not so, but that is part of another story.

"This big Snake used to crawl up a high hill and watch the Moon in the sky. He was in love with her, and she knew it; but she paid no attention to him. She liked his looks, for his clothes were fine, and he was always slick and smooth. This went on for a long time, but she never talked to him at all. The Snake thought maybe the hill wasn't high enough, so he found a higher one, and watched the Moon pass, from the top. Every night he climbed this high hill and motioned to her. She began to pay more attention to the big Snake, and one morning early, she loafed at her work a little, and spoke to him. He was flattered, and so was she, because he said many nice things to her, but she went on to the Sun's lodge, and left the Snake.

"The next morning very early she saw the Snake again, and this time she stopped a long time - so long that the Sun had started out from the lodge before she reached home. He wondered what kept her so long, and became suspicious of the Snake. He made up his mind to watch, and try to catch them together. So every morning the Sun left the lodge a little earlier than before; and one morning, just as he climbed a mountain, he saw the big Snake talking to the Moon. That made him angry, and you can't blame him, because his wife was spending her time loafing with a Snake.
~

"She ran away; ran to the Sun's lodge and left the Snake on the hill. In no time the Sun had grabbed him. My, the Sun was angry! The big Snake begged, and promised never to speak to the Moon again, but the Sun had him; and he smashed him into thousands of little pieces, all of different colors from the different parts of his painted body. The little pieces each turned into a little snake, just as you see them now, but they were all too small for the Moon to notice after that. That is how so many Snakes came into the world; and that is why they are all small, nowadays.

"Our people do not like the Snake-people very well, but we know that they were made to do something on this world, and that they do it, or they wouldn't live here.

"That was a short story, but tomorrow night I will tell you why the Deer-people have no gall on their livers; and why the Antelope-people do not wear dew-claws, for you should know that there are no other animals with cloven hoofs that are like them in this.

"I am tired tonight, and I will ask that you go to your lodges, that I may sleep, for I am getting old. Ho!"
